    Not a terribly great story, but worth it just to see Hugo Weaving as the ugliest drag queen who ever was.

    Umm ... I think I missed the cultural significance. Although I don't know much about GLBT cinema, but this was before To Wong Foo ... good performances but not much of a story. I suppose you don't really watch it for that, do you? :)

    Socially poignant, affectionately acted film carried by three heterosexual actors. "To Wong Foo..." never needed to be made, and never needs to be seen because there is Priscilla. "That's just what this country needs: a cock in a frock on a rock."
