I recall seeing this at a small town movie theatre with my cub scout group; we loved it. It spoke to our outdoor enthusiasm. It had a cool theme song. Today, I can see how cheaply made it is, but still have a fond spot for it.

This is a sugary mess of a film. Cheaply made, poorly acted and not in the least bit convincing. It is just so corny. The score is awful and the editing amateurishly done.
