I really want to see this as i love films that have singing and dancing in them and i'm a fan of Nina Dobrev so i look forward to seeing this. It's meant to premiere on MTV where i live shortly so i'll be able to review it better after then.

...This movie has more transitions. Especially between acting and songs: people just talk talk talk, then suddenly started dancing and singing O_O...
I also didn't really like the plot. I didn't think it was as focused as it could have been. The music was fine, except it was extr...( read more) -

The dancing was whack, but the rating is for the plot and the amazing vocal ability of the actors.

So my girlfriend and I watched this movie because she likes High School Musical. Let me say that even though I can't stand that one either I would GLADLY watch that one over this one EVERY time. This movie was atrocious. The singing is exactly how you expect it to be and the acti...( read more)

August 9, 2008Hi American Mall is a Great Kids and Teen musical type of movie. If you like High School musical or Camp Rock's story line you will like this movie. This movie most Reminds me of Highschool musical 2 plot when Ashley Tisdales Character is at first successful of stealing Zac Efrons character from his girlfriend (Vannessa Hudgens character) in the movie. Tisdale is even able almost able to get Efron to perform with her on stage also stealing a song Kelsey made for Efron and Hudgens. It also reminds me of Camp Rock specifically when Demi Lovato at first cannot afford to go to rock camp just like American Malls character except in American Mall her single mom just doesnt believe she can make it in the music industry.
