MCT:April 21, 2008A great cast put together for (yet another) remake that somewhere along the line falls flat. It took a drubbing from critics and fans, but whatever caused this film to fail, it sure as hell wasn't the acting. Nothing wrong there, although I have to say Uma isn't near the beauty Diana Rigg was in that role. Damn she was hot.

MCT:April 19, 2008Cool movie. The sense of class that encapsulates the entire movie was convincing enough and the premise for the whole film was okey. Though I'm not exactly sure why Sean Connery was dissed so bad for the playing the villian in this movie. He was okey in my book.

MCT:April 5, 2008One of the most underrated films of all time- a nicely whimsical action adventure with imaginative visuals and a rich atmosphere. Suffers from exceedingly corny dialogue and the fact that Fiennes and Thurman are not Patrick Macnee and Diana Rigg, but it captures the glorious loopiness of the series and its "anything can happen at any time" attitude.

I'd have thought Connery was smarter than to appear in shit like this.

This was the movie that brought down Ralph Finnes' brilliant career. You can blame that on Uma Thurman. This was the worst concept ever based on the hit British TV 1960's spy show. Uma Thurman dead-on impression of Diana Rigg's character of Emma Peel is an insult. And what the hell is Sean Connery playing a sadistic villain? WTF???
Sean Connery is James Bond in a bad role and even pathetic in a bad movie! One of the worst films that ever came out of the late 1990's.posted 437 days ago
