really need to see it again, I think it's practically a part of every young girls childhood now and I loved it as far as I remember, but I really need to rewatch
Surprisingly sweet. Sure, it's a little too treacle but some of the girls have real problems. I think a lot of young girls would be able to identify with the movie, even if they aren't about to start a club for baby sitting.
I used to love the books, so when the movie came out I was a little excited. It's a little childish now, but at the time these girls were among my best friends.
It is alright..obviously, it's a bit old now, but I think it's a bit jumbled, the plot wasn't great, and neither was the acting. I mean, it was cute, but it could have been much better.
this movie will always have a special place in my heart cuz it reminds me of being a very young girl.plus i had nearly all the books..i loved them and this movie!
Teen movies usually end up having some kind of sweet message that make them worth your time at least. This didn't. It was all heavy-handed lessons and morals that are totally obvious to even a small child. I cannot recommend this.
When this movie came out, I was intrigued because I was a fan of the book series. At the time of the release, I was pretty much near the end of my interest in that series (I was 14). However, I waited a couple years later to watch it. It was ok. Actually, I think I prefer the tv series better than this movie. Like most movies adapted from books, there are inconsistancies. So if you are curious on the BSC, but not interested in reading the books - watch the movie. Fans will probably be a bit disappointed with it.
we see many familiar faces like Rachel Leigh Cook, Schuyler Frisk and the bad chick, who I can't name, in this coming-of-age girl-power fest. but for me it didn't leave any other impression.
HAHAHAHA!!! Omigod!! I completely forgot about this movie. I used to LOVE reading the books as a kid. It was a pretty good movie during its time. Very cute.
these books were so popular! and i love stories about girl friends who all come together and help each other out. tehres a love story in this movie too. its got a great moral!
This is one of my favorite family films about close-knit friendship and solidarity. A warm and sometimes touching story about a group of different girls with dreams, goals and ambitions.
This is the worst film I have ever seen in my entire life. I think the actors who appeared should be ashamed. The director should be flogged. This is a travesty, it was an assault on my senses.
