Alan Rickman played Slope brilliantly in this BBC version of Barchester chronicles. It was a good story to begin with and the film followed it rather well making it a good story for all to watch.
a little odd but still worth watching, Alan Rickman does a wonderful job with his character (as always) but I watched mainly for the presence of Doald Plesenace. He was a hell of an actor.
LOOK! It's a baby ALAN RICKMAN! Awww... what a sweetly devious face he has to match that sleek and thin physique. Great characters in this 1982 BBC mini series. Lots of English stars lighting up the dreary rainy scenery. If you like period pieces, give this a shot and let me know...( read more)
