Kudos to Bogey for his fantastic year (besides this, Sabrina, and one I haven't seen but is supposedly his best performance, The Caine Mutiny) but it's Ava who owns the show, and not because it revolves around her... she was simply wonderful. And, in all, a great film with a fantastic script.
Witty, sharp and just a little too wordy.... Bogart is great, Gardner is beautiful and somehow it still falls ever so slightly flat. Worth watching a couple of times, but hard to really love.
