A quality movie, it keeps you guessing throughout to who 'the bat' is. Movies like this shouldn't be forgotten.
The first and last 10 minutes are great suspense, but the middle is all hens clucking through their worry. "Murder She Wrote" has sharper teeth. Vincent Price remains untouchable.
This should have a remake. Make it more interesting. Just to add, this movie gave the idea for Batman.

Vincent Price makes another great performance here, as he always does. Acting was great, and the villain "The Bat" was actually a good idea. The story turns into a murder mystery, which leaves you guessing.
