The Belgrade Phantom
With a premise that inevitably recalls Richard Sarafian's 1971 Vanishing Point, this slick action opus from Serbia and Montenegro concerns a driver called The Phantom who performs a series of giddy, outrageous stunts throughout local city streets. In seemingly no time at all, news of his exploits spreads throughout the community and hordes of people turn up to witness the daredevil in action, with over 10,000 figures present at one point - turning him into a bona fide folk hero.
