Plot of every sports movie? Yeah, pretty much. The Big Green is an exercise in numbing ineptness. -

MCT:August 12, 2007Hey....it's that movie featuring a small town soccer team battling against rival teams! It's called "The Big Green", which I have no idea what this means. Maybe "The Big Green" means everybody in the soccer team wears green? Probably. Anyway....it was a great sports movie!

This movie got my nephew into soccer and showed him it was alright to have red hair and freckles, bonus! -

A good movie. No real cute guys. Kate and Juan would make a good couple. So would both of the coaches. I think they should make a second on where Kate and Juan get together. Most memorable quote from the movie: "Next time I go I am taking you with me."

This is really exactly what I expected. Just another stupid Disney movie with a cast that consists of non famous kids. Putting children is a mistake to begin with and this movie became a disaster from doing it. The jokes were lame and all fell flat. I can't think of anything good about this. The Big Green was just poorly made and was everything that a bad movie should be.

Okay the acting in this movie was cheesy and positively dreadful. However, the overall story was cute and I'm a sucker for stories about soccer and underdogs who have sexy comebacks. Plus the lil' wee dude who won the game, Newt is a sweetie. Definitely a kids movie and I don't recommend it.
