I WANT to like this movie but it leaves me feeling so negative about relationships! I HATE this movie in some respect because the ending shouldn't end this way, movies are suppose to give us false hope, there suppose to leave us feeling happy and fuzzy.
This one doesn't. good movie just too much like reality to be honest.
The idea to start the movie with the opening titles showing the couple's happy times on pictures is pretty neat. People expecting an upbeat comedy, when they see the names Aniston and Vaughn could easily get disappointed though, just like I was in the first half, which is full of pretty angry fights and arguments, admittedly a few laughs too but the general mood actually made me pretty sad. Once that's accepted the second half delivers a bitter-sweet break-up story with side characters that would have deserved more screen time (D'onofrio, Bateman) and a hopeful yet open and not really happy ending. Not bad for what it is.
The movie is good. The acting of Vincent D'Onofrio Was brilliant he was Dennis Grobowski a brother of Vince Vaughn.
I think Vincent D?Onofrio is the best actor ever.
Was pretty bad. I don't know who shit me off more Aniston and her usual crap acting or Vaughn who was equally as weak and really fat? Jason Bateman and Justin Long were the only good parts of the movie. And the hot chick from Mallrats got old really quickly...she used to be a hell hottie.
The movie is actually not very very funny.. it has its own level.. the movie itself aint so bad either but it missed alot of things and the ending was poor, the ending was not good at all.. could have ended way better..

not as funny as i thought it would be start..at the beginning u kinda think it's funny and interesting. halfway of the movie, their antics get like kinda annoying and the ending sucks..it was boring

Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston spark off each other perfectly in this film that works better as a drama than a comedy, as most of the jokes fall flat. The majority of the film sees the main couple arguing that does become a little tiresome after a while, though you can't help but think that the pairing of Vaughn and Aniston is very beliievable and there are a few very effective moments. Overall, good though nothing special.
The best break up movie ive ever seen. Of course its just funny and you gotta love it when they fight, all the humor of real breakups without having to listen to the sappy part of each side haha
Such a let down. It started off great, lulled, followed on with some hope. Great cast - then the pancake hit the roof and fell onto the floor. Major disappointment ending - left me wondering why and what I watched! Might revisit it in five years

+ lots of funny parts. + Vaughn funny as always. + one of the best film in the genre (romantic comedy). - I dislike the ending that they went their separate ways.
I actually really enjoyed this movie. Even though it was extremely predictable, I found myself laughing most of the way through (especially when Brooke's friend says I've been through a lot and Gary adds "a lot of d*).
It was extremely funny and I was happy when I watched it on HBO, because that meant I would be able to watch it a lot more this summer.

This film bugged till the very end. There is hardly anything that can be actually appreciated in this film. The whole mopvie is about this couple fighting and ready to 'Braek-up' over nothign but crap!
