THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST FILMS I'VE EVER SEEN. I HONESTLY WAS TAKEN BACK BY ASTON KUTCHER'S PERFORMANCE.AT FIRST I WAS A BIT SKEPTICAL. I DIDN'T THINK KUTCHER COULD DO SUCH A GREAT JOB. HE IS ALWAYS PLAYING STUPID ROLES, BUT THAT ALL CHANGED WHEN I SAW THIS. HE SUCKS YOU RIGHT INTO HIS CHARACTER. THEIRS NOT A DULL MOMENT. A MOST SEE!!

This is one of the best movies that you'll ever see, sure i don't think what this kid goes through is common but it's possible.I know there is two endings, one is where he ends up having to get kaliegh to move in with her mom by telling her he hates her...the other is where he strangles him self with the embelical cord in his moms stomach.I find the first one more sad.Anyway see this movie it is so good!!!!!!!!!!!! P.s c it twice it'll make more sense!!:)

I'm fond of this film. It's wonderful and makes other people to think.... The ends.. I saw the both, the first was on the Russian variant, it was happy but melancholy... The second was in English.. oh.. it was so sad((( But it's a great idea to creat 2 ends)

Much better than I expected. Like a serious version of Back To The Future... and just as good!! Extremely thought-provoking, but the one thing I can't work out is the prison scene when he goes back and impales his hands to 'prove' to his inmate that he can travel through time - a plothole?!?

Everything I loathe about cinema somehow fits into one film. I've never seen something with such a sense of self importance in my life. An MTV movie in a proper film's clothes. Abhorrant.

    Trivia imdb:

*Evan's diaries have the same cover layout as the diaries of John Doe in Se7en (1995), also released by New Line Cinema.

*In the film, Melora Walters and Ashton Kutcher play mother and son. In real life, Walters is only ten years older than Kutcher.

*During one of Evan's "flashback" scenes, he can be heard reading part of Ray Bradbury's short story "A Sound of Thunder". In this story, a group of people travel millions of years into the past to hunt dinosaurs. One of them accidentally steps on and kills a butterfly, which dramatically alters the future.

*There was an alternate "happy ending" ending filmed where Even and Kayleigh actually turn around at the same time and begin to talk.

    ie!...

This was the most amazing movie I have ever seen, by far my favorite. It had its faults, as every movie does but its plot really caught me. Ashton Kutcher has really come along way as an actor. I would recommend it to anyone.
