Watching this film was a pleasantly unpleasant experience for me. Rather disturbing but fascinating and deep, cruel and tender at the same time, both dreamy and grotesquely real. A British jewel not to be missed!

A bit disturbing but a good movie nonetheless. I especially liked the detached narration while Jack read his book.
