  When I watched The Chase on Tv a few years ago, I thought itwasa great movie. It's an action and drama movie mixed with a touch ofcomedy. Charlie Sheen is wanted by police everywhere. He manages to escape and he takes Kristy Swanson as hostage and she happens to be the daughter of one of the richest men in the state. You'll never guess how he manages to kidnap her; he does it with a candy bar. Sheen and Swanson end up going on a long road trip trying to get to Mexico before they get caught by the cops. All the news stations have them on live TV the whole time. Charlie Sheen tells Kristy Swanson about his story and why he's in prison and they end up liking each other. She has sympathy and love for him at the same time while everybody else thinks Sheen is holding her hostage and that she's in real danger ... Charlie Sheen and Kristy Swanson couldn't have played the movie together any better and it's fun to watch to see what will happen next. This is one chase I definitely recommend you to join in on. NOTE: That was my Amazon review from the year 2000. I've always loved this movie and find it to be one of the most underrated and overlooked of its kind!

  Really enjoyed this back in the day, Swanson was gorgeous and Sheen was good fun as the everyday criminal on the run. Its quite funny here and there and there is some pretty nice car stunts and chases going on (there should be really though hehe) nice in-car sex sequence too :) Like… More

  What a wild action scenes include front-seat sex and cadavers bouncing down the freeway. This action-comedy film with Charlie Sheen and sexy Kristy Swanson is to spend nearly 90 minutes in the front seat of a red BMW.

  Henry Rollins, Anthony Kiedis, Flea - the crazy rock'n'roll minor role casting is worth a look, as is the gorgeous Kristy Swanson in her prime. Charlie Sheen is no Steve McQueen, but you knew that.
