Everything you know is about to change.

Second installment in the Chronicles of Narnia series. I saw the first one and enjoyed it so I thought; why not see this one too?

It is absolutley beautifully made considering the fact that so much cgi. I haven't read that boo...( read more)ks and apart from watching the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe I don't know that much about the Narnia-verse or anything. But I really should read them.
I do love the characters though. We'ce got the original Penesive children that work great together and the additions are characters such as Reepicheep and Prince Caspian.
I think that the plot was good and you understood pretty much everything that was going on without getting confused.
Beautifully made, interesting plot, darker then the first one but still abit childish( it is a childrens movie after all). Pretty good acting, considering the fact that Georgie Henley and Skandar Keynes for example are so young.
I fell inlove with Prince Caspian and Ben Barnes, brilliant accent.

All in all a good movie. Will definitley check out the next one.

Reepicheep:Choose your last words carefully, Telmarine!
Prince Caspian: You are a mouse.
Reepicheep: [sighs] I was hoping for something a little more original. Pick up your sword.

Similar to the first movie but strange that the children just suddenly appeared in Narnia an not through the wardrobe. I liked the prince a lot in this movie as he had an hispanic accent.

Really good! The differences to the first were striking. I think one of the greatest things about this movie was that the four had all grown up and you could see where they had come from, what they had been through and how they had changed in the way they behaved and interacted, ...( read more)in comparison to other movie series when the kids just look older rather than experience personality changes. The acting was quite good (I have to say Edmund was my favourite character in this movie - Skandar Keynes did really well), the scenery was really beautiful at times and the animations were realistic enough. It is much darker than the first and much more action packed, but not overly so. Overall a very emotive movie with many good Biblical references. Well worth the watch!

Cine infantil del soportable (aunque soporte mejor la primera). A mi lo que mas me gusta de las pelis de Narnia son las batallas (5).
  • October 12, 2009
This movie is okay.It follows the typical patern of sequels to where it's not as good as the first one.

A fantastic Adaptation of the book. Which of the Narnaia series was never my favorite. But THIS movie tok it and ran with it. i came away with an apprecauitiaon of the novel which i have not read as a boy! I'm re=reading the Narnia seies again and can NOT wait to see Number Three...( read more)- the Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I know Edmund, Lucy and Caspian are in that one too...

I don't know why this movie isn't rated higher by crititcs? i think its becuse its been outshown by similar fantasy ics like The LOTR and the Harry Potter drivel. But it is WORTH watching, it draws you in and stays in your mind afterwards. I'd watch it again and again and i want to BUY a copy for myself.

This movie was okay I guess, not as good as the first movie

Boy oh boy what a step down in the series. Andrew Adamsonīs direction has regressed to the point of amateurism, the screenplay is full of plotholes and leaps in logic and the overall feel of the film is rather cheap, broken, unfinished. An intriging premise (a destroyed Narnia, 1...( read more)000 years after the children first set foot in it) is completely wasted

The sole standout element is, not surprisingly, Peter Dinklage who delivers a typically strong performance as a seriously badass dwarf.

Even to a non admirer of C.S. Lewis this film was a disappointment.

I think that I am the only person that I have met who actually prefers this sequel to the original. This film was much darker than "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" which is why I loved it. It seems like more is at stake in this one. As the story goes, Narnia overcome the W...( read more)hite Witches reign of terror only to have the Narnians put to the brink of extinction at the hands of the Telmarines. Narnia seems like a very harsh place especially for the Narnians. I found myself really believing in the transition of the characters from the first film to this one, in other words I bought this film. It is just a well made adaptation of a book into a movie, the action in it is very enjoyable. The actors that play the Pevensie Children are all great and have really grown into their characters. I just enjoyed this film a great deal for some reason, it isn't like I can explain it or anything. But the battle scenes were great and the single combat scenes were spectacular. This movie is for anyone who loved C.S. Lewis' Narnia series, the budgets, and production values on these movies are reminiscent of Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings" Trilogy which also make them a visual delight because you can tell that a lot of work went into making this movie.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is a 2008 epic fantasy film based on Prince Caspian, the second published novel in C. S. Lewis's fantasy series, The Chronicles of Narnia. It is the second in The Chronicles of Narnia film series from Walden Media, following The Chronicles...( read more) of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005). The four Pevensie children (William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes, and Georgie Henley) return to Narnia to aid Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes) in his struggle for the throne against his corrupt uncle, King Miraz (Sergio Castellitto).

  • September 29, 2009
This might have actually been better than the first one. Looking forward to part 3!
  • September 29, 2009
Way too long, and drawn out. This film is overrated, and I thoight it should have been PG-13.

    No More Comment.

Not as good as the first in the series but okay!
  • September 28, 2009
Darker than their previous movie, but not a disappointment!

This has more action and suspense in it, and also presents a more mature look at the Pevensie siblings, a year later after they first made their journey into the land of Narnia.

Peter's character is more hot-blooded, ...( read more)and if i must say, more restless and moody. Ed's character is now wiser, more loyal, and even helpful. I think he also acts as Peter's confidante and even trusted advisor. So unlike his previous betrayal during the last film. Susan FINALLY has something to do other than be annoying and act clever as she actually does battle. The only constant character if i may so, is Lucy, who has always been brave, trusting, loyal, and very cute (even she did grow taller).

The most troubled character for me is Peter, who appears confused and pressured (even blamed) by everyone. The stubborn Prince Caspian on the other hand, appears steadfast and too confident.

So much has changed since the siblings had been to Narnia that the although the movie is still very much magical, it's atmosphere is not the same.

ben barnes waz soo cute in this....
  • September 27, 2009
Didn't enjoy this as much as the first..found it a bit too cheesy and just didn't like the story as much. It was okay though! Will still see the next :)
  • September 27, 2009
Wasn't as bad as everyone told me it was. It was campy and re-watchable.
  • September 26, 2009
I enjoyed it, even though Caspian's accent made me cringe. The Caspian-Susan romance was lame and unnecessary.
