although not sure if it will be released in aus. just like to say one of the actress in this movie had her first debut and was awesome she played Yasantwa is awesome :D.

I can only find a DVD release on Region 1 at the moment. So it looks like Australia will be waiting as far as I can see. Was the film ever released in Cinemas in Australia?

To those of you who say this movie is a rip off theres plenty of movies like this. It's even similar to the Running Man. Most movies today are ripoffs of some other movie, if their not then it's usually a remake.

Really good movie, the ending is excellent when vinnie lets loose lol. Stone cold is really amazing in this film and also seen the goto be wrestling move by a movie containing a wrestler.

Sounds like the plot to the game Manhunt. Also it has a been done before in Battle Royale I and II but with japanese school childeren instead of criminals.

BATTLE ROYALE!!!!
for those who don't know - Battle Royale is a japanese movie / manga and I think also a book. Instead of criminals, it's a class of high school students who have to participate in "the Program". It's basically the same...but ORIGINAL, and also is way more interesting. It's really sick and at first unconcievable because it involves TEENAGERS, but ....cmon people....this is crap in comparison. And a total freaking ripoff.
