Well, to be honest, I have only looked at parts of the book of circa 1000 pages by Dumas. Yes yes, I know you're supposed to read the book first, but I was feeling lazy. Needless to say, it was an intimidating volume.

the movie has justified the novel pretty well...i liked the realization that revenge doesn't end as good as one would think, it merely destroys the person doing it...
As a big fan of the book, I was a little disapointed; the film is fine but there is another film made in 1934 that is way better. If that 1934 film outdated Imagine what will happen to this one. I won't even say it, because everyone says the same thing about movies based on books...( read more)
