Blessitt started his trek near his home in California, then brought his message across the United States to the Atlantic coast. Next on Blessitt's itinerary was Northern Ireland, followed by the rest of the countries in the world, including those marked by communism and war. THE CROSS captures Blessitt's faith-filled, four-decade expedition, culminating in 2008 after he visited every island group in the world.
