I saw this movie when I was just a kid and I must say Alicia Silverstone is quite the actress. She really "creeped me out" as a psycho teen stalker. I liked this a lot.
Cary Elwes stars as Nick, a writer who moves into the guest house in the home of a small town family. He gets himself settled and finds a new job, but the silence isn't going to last long. The family's young daughter, Adrian (Silverstone) takes an unhealthy liking to Nick. At first she simply flirts with him, but when it becomes apparent to her that he isn't interested, she becomes obsessed with him, and goes to somewhat unrealistic lengths to gain his affection. At the end of the movie, society's order is regained by Silverstone being committed to a looney bin and the movie indicates that she's now replaced Elwes with a young male doctor as the object of her homicidal affections. A closeup of Silverstone smirking tells us that things are not changing. Silverstone is quite impressive in her debut and, despite being very obvious, she wasn't afraid to own the film.
its a movie worth watching really cool acting by alicia and a really good story too. the ending wasnt that cool but it sort of went with the whole idea of the movie which is trying whatever means to get someone who you have a crush on even when it means a sack full of really big problems for the unfortunate beloved:)
here is a movie about an teenager gone crazy. her parents rent out the backroom above the gargage to a teacher. their daughter gets this crazy idea that he should belong to her and nobody else. but a school crush turns deadly when people and events around them start to unravel. it is suspenseful, thriller and a great drama.
oh yeah... good one... when I was a kid, I always tried to imagine myself having a nymphomanic neighbor that looked like alicia silverstone... sadly, it really didnt happen, maybe the fact that I looked nothing like cary elwes was to blame... so sad... :(
I thought that this was a good movie due to the suspencful parts scattered throughout the movie. I think Alica Silverstone is a talented actress, but I don't think she lived up to her potential in this one. But I still found it to be entertaining and would recommend this to anyone.
Alicia Silverstone actually does a respectable acting job in this one. She manages to pull off a good and convincing role. How come all of her movies aren't like this?
You feel for the guy for sure, she does some absolutely crazy things to him. Kind of reminds you that ANY girl, and I do mean any, has the potential to be like Silverstone here.
This movie is awesome, Alicia Silverstone plays the role of a disturbed girl who is obsessed with a man living in their garage apartment. A film that will keep you on your feet.
This has got to be Alicias best movie, hes fine as fuck but to put a disgusting discarded used condom up ur cootch to call rape is a bit too far for a fifteen year old girl.
This movie shows what happens when a teenage girl becomes overly obsessed with her parents' new renter. She is always spying on him and becomes extremely jealous and manipulative when he gets a girlfriend. Overall I think this movie is very entertaining, especially for girls, and has an amusing ending.
