A stunning film, one of my favourites of all time. People seem to have problems with the 'Secret' and badmouth it thanks to it being profusely spoofed by inferior comedies looking for a cheap laugh. If you have yet to see it, please watch it soon and without bias, it?s an absolut...( read more)e classic.

not a bad lil movie. the twist wasn't what i expected it to be. i've been seeing so many films recently with that type of thing going on in it. it's like i'm being brainwashed! i will not buy a dress! jaye davidson played a convincing lass except for the huge wide nose which did ...( read more)kind of give it away. miranada richardson a.k.a. queenie off of the blackadder 2 series was really fierce and nasty! forest whitaker had an interesting part. stephen rea who i believe was also in michael collins (same director also) seems to have the knack of playing an I.R.A. type character down to a T. it started off real slow but after about 45 minutes it really got going and it did have a good ending. liked the story about the scorpian and the frog. well directed by neil jordan

A popular and critically acclaimed Irish film written and directed by Neil Jordan. The film explores themes of race, gender, nationality, and sexuality against the backdrop of the Irish Troubles.

The film is also notable for its sympathetic portrayal of characters from often-reviled subcultures, presented here as complex and likable human beings...a thriller, but also as an unconventional romance and a must see...!

Builded way too much around it's plot twist to make this stand as nothing more than a novelty of it's time.

Up until the end of Forest Whitaker, this is a great movie, bordering on awesome. After that, it goes to complete crap, a crying shame. I couldn't hold out until the all-too-obvious end... And I really don't want to watch men making out or anything similar.
