Wes Anderson just keeps getting better and better. Beautifully shot and with superb sets and locations, this is another original film about family relationships and personal discovery, its what Anderson does best. Brody, Schwartzman and Wilson are all equally brilliant. Its a mus...( read more)t see!

I didnt like it but visually it was intriguing and the way the actors played their characters was jokes.

What was this about?? nothing is the answer..utter nonsense with no apparant plot. The cast is the usual Wes Anderson line up with the usual Anderson mystery plot, just like the Life Aquatic. It makes no sense atall and is thoroughly boring. The only thing that ran through my min...( read more)d as I watched this is, this is just an excuse for a free trip across India for cast and crew....with pay!! there is no other reason for it, wish I could do that.

Interesting and original but does not captivate and draw in. More spacy and off the wall but I guess that's standard for Wes Anderson Films, so if you like his other films you will like this peculiar piece.

I really enjoyed this movie of 3 brothers who haven't spoken to each other for over a year coming together in India on a train and going on a spiritual trip whilst also trying to find their mother. It's a very offbeat comedy that won't appeal to everybody - you'll either love it ...( read more)or hate it. It's so well written and has oodles of charm to it. Adrien Brody, Owen Wilson and Jason Chwartzman have great chemistry with each other as the brothers. The cinematography showing the Indian countryside is beautiful. Watch out for a fleeting cameo from Bill Murray at the beginning and the end of the movie. For those that love quirky comedies, this will not disappoint.

The story was that horrible, yet the film was at least well directed over this movie.
