Oh fuck man!! I need to watch this movie again damnnnn!!! This is like my 4th time watching the movie but I just can't get enough of it. The story was hell of a great and do I need to mention about the acting?? Of course not! You all should know about it already but I'm still gonna say it..HEATH LEDGER IS THE BOMB!!!!! My first ever Movie to be watched 5 times in Cinemas...xD & it worth every penny...
Wow, I'm almost torn between being glad that so many people are watching this movie (more ticket sales equals guaranteed sequel) and being ashamed for going with the crowd so brazenly. Usually, I like to be a voice of dissent, at least to some degree, but I loved the Dark Knight unabashedly, and now it seems like almost EVERYONE ELSE does, too.
It's the same thing with comic books: for the longest time I have been a fan of comics and superheroes- since I was three, just about- but now that they're officially "cool", it's like I'm just agreeing with everyone else. And when something else finally becomes the new trend with the "cool" people, they'll claim I'm outdated or lame for still liking them (as I know I will).
But hey, what the hell- might as well enjoy conformity while I can. Besides, I was here first, so I guess that's gotta count for something, right?
Also, is there actually a discussion about Christian Bale being the best Batman ever? That is freaky hilarious! I mean, thats a no-brainer. He is the only Bruce/Batman that makes the audience love and hate him, the first Batman to be so dark, and the first to toy with the audience's emotions and get away with it. No other Batman even attempted to be so extreme, the closest was Keaton but his 2 Batman films didnt have any sequences that he could work with to really toy with the audience's emotion. So, altho I agree Bale is the best Batman ever, I do not think there should be a discussion about it especially since none of the others even tried.
Heath Ledger is so overrated in this film. Just cuz he has great lines and he licks his lips in every scene doesnt make him an Oscar nominee. If being sinister earns a nomination, then Danny DeVito should have won an Oscar for his performance as the Penguin! He was smart, sad, and short. The audience loved him and hated him at the same time because they would feel his pain but hate him for wanting to kill Batman. So, I wont be surprised if Ledger doesnt get nominated. If he does, then I have to give a big hand to the fans for making him so overrated that they could have the Oscar members judging incorrectly.
I'm not sure what's worse, the movie or its fans. I'm ashamed that I even wanted to see it after seeing the last one they made. I've always had a thing for superheros. yeah, Heath Ledgers did a good job as the joker... this was not a good movie. This movie is OVERRATED! as in people give it way too much credit. It's pathetic! It had absolutly no plot line, Bale still makes Batman sound like a heavy smoker, all the characters storys are incorrect; they weren't even close. Watch the old batman movies, the stories are much closer. I mean not including Adam West, Michael Keaton is the best Batman. Val Kilmer comes pretty close. Compared to Christian Bale, George Clooney is a great Batman. I hate to spoil movies, but think about this if you've seen it... Spiderman doesn't have to make a decision he can save both! The older movies were kind of cheesey but they were at least a million times better. go see Hellboy, its better. Christian Bale can suck my Robbin!
This movie was amazing. Christian Bale is making Batman out to be the real character that he was always meant out to be and Heath Ledger did the exact same thing with the Joker. I truly believe that no one will ever be able to top the performance that Heath Ledger put on as the Joker. He was the true version of the crazy mad man that the Joker really is. No offense to Jack Nicolson BUT the Joker was never meant to be an upbeat character. He was exactly what he was supposed to be in this movie...a stone cold killer. I have to say that anybody that hasn't seen this movie MUST see it. It is definitely worth the 10 dollars for the ticket and more.

This movie perfectly combines the power of other batman movie and the beauty of its counterpart DC batman comics.
What amazes me most is how Bruce and the Joker's Actors portrayed each part.
This is the first time (second actually after Batman Begins) a batman movie clearly emphasize the BIG difference between Batman and Bruce Wayne. Bruce as the mask and batman as the real person reminds me of "Batman Year One Shaman"
..a man masked as a bat masked as a man..
Ledger shows who the real Joker is: a person who does serious, horrible, and terrifying acts in amusing and funny way. Reminds me of the highly acclaimed "Batman-The Killing Joke"
DC comics fans like me normally criticizes a Batman Movie. Why? Because all of them treats GOTHAM like a Circus with glittering and stupid colorful lights whatsoever. All of them does not clearly defines this city as filthy, corrupt, ruled by mobs..
Batman Begins and TDK is different..
and thats the BEST about it!
