July 27, 2008Hyped? yes, but we know that already. So is it really any good? *people scream YES at the screen* Well it didn't do anything out of the ordinary or new for me. It felt repetitive, and the characters lacked any (especially Rachel). I didn't feel the conflict or any emotion for the 'characters'. So why'd I give it a 3 star rating? It was not better than that, and not worse. Average, and that's being kind.

The movie was unbelievable. It is certainly going to blast records and surely be the movie of the year. The length at 2 hours 30 mins is long, but what I would say is the right length, being that if it was slightly shorter or longer, it would have ruined the movie. But what makes my marrow bubble is that Heath Ledger. He did play the Joker; he WAS the Joker. The way he licked his lips and told a different, odd story about how he got his scars all showed the pure psycotic, gritty, lawless performance that trounces all the others ten fold. I can only say one thing. I loved it.

July 27, 2008I just saw it on Imax all i can say is holy shit.It is an amazing movie.I loved it.Heath Ledger played the joker perfectly.I dont have one bad thing to say about it.

July 26, 2008I dont know why they killed 2-FACE? His supposed to be on the 3rd movie, cause in the comics they will use for that new movie (LONG HALLOWEEN & DARK VICTORIA or VICTORY) his IN!!! Even Scarecrow is there and has a bigger role as every villain we all know!!! The Riddle, Poison Ivy, The Pinguin, 2-Face, Joker & MR FREEZE is there! I loved this new movie, it was preaty amazing. Love the special effects, but they were a little to WTF? Hehe, I loved it. Anyway, Rachel's part: Got a new actress (Maggie), and then: Kill HER? Wow, I know she did a great job making this Rachel her own, as Katie Holmes did on BB, but why of a sudden...she's..Y_Y? I wont like to say what happens to her, but for that sign, you can guess. Ohh, and Scarecrow's part: TO SHORT! I know they try to connect his part: I escape, now I get arrest...but why so short? Is because his long part is a deleted scene? Some scenes from trailers were cut of the movie. I cant wait to see the 3rd one and wish Crane got a long part

July 25, 2008IM HEADING BACK SUNDAY FOR MY THIRD TIME AND HOPEFULLY CATCH IT IN IMAX. THIS IS THE BATMAN MOVIE WE ALL WAITED FOR. WHAT HEATH LEDGER BROUGHT TO THE SCREEN AS THE JOKER WAS SO IMPRESSIVE. DEF PROPS TO AARON ECKHART AS HARVEY DENT AND THE MAKE UP AS 2 FACE. I THINK THE MAGIC TRICK WAS JUST PRICELESS!!!. NOW FOR THE NEXT BATMAN DEF U HAVE TO BRING BACK THE JOKER AND RECAST WITH THE POPULARITY OF THE CHARACTER AND WITH HIM NOT DYING, ALSO WE NEVER SEE A FUNERAL FOR HARVEY DENT WE DID SEE GORDON TALKING ABOUT HARVEY BUT SEEMED LIKE AT CITY HALL SO U DEF HAVE TO THINK THEY BRING HIM BACK FOR THE NEXT BATMAN. I THINKING IN MY OPINION IT BE THE RIDDLER AND 2 FACE. NOT A SILLY GOOFY RIDDLER BUT A VERY DARK RIDDLER AND MAYBE AT THE END OF THE THIRD MOVIE HAVE SOME TYPE OF TEASE THAT THE JOKER IS ALIVE AND WELL OR THEY COULD JUST USE HIM IN THE THIRD MOVIE WHERE BATMAN IS DEALING WITH ALL THREE OF THEM AT ONCE KINDA LIKE THE LONG HALLOWEEN.

July 25, 2008I agree whether Heath Ledger was alive or not his role was his best. He would be getting awards right now and we all know it. I loved this movie ♥! I think everyone should see it. I liked majority of the batman movies but this was by far my favorite!

This movie was amazing! They changed so many things, but they made it work! I just got home!
By the way for all you whiny people out there, the so called "gore" was NEEDED! if they haddint added the specific "gore" they did there would be some really angry comic book fans.
For you who have not read the comics you wouldnt understand, just trust me it was absolutly positively needed.
Now see how hard I worked not to spoil anything! as aposed to the people on this site who WROTE OUT THE ENTIRE PLOT! AAAUUUGGHH!
anyway this is a must see movie. the only way it could have been better is if it was perfectly acurate and realistic at the same time. no way that could happen.

July 24, 2008The mystique of Ledger has something to do with it, but his performance speaks for itself. Still, this is overrated and is not the best movie ever. Sorry!
