  A nice little surprise this one turned out to be, shame it's not more highly thought of. The story is intriguing and at least original and I was gripped right up to the end. It's all well paced and lively with some good action and decent special effects, the odd splattering of gore too but nothing OTT. The setting of the film in England was a bit of a bizarre choice with an American lead, Ice Hockey isn't even a major sport over here either! But despite those minor gripes this was a very entertaining film worthy of a watch.

  It boasts an original idea and good acting but ultimately it was neither scary or interesting. Fans of horror and science fiction will enjoy it im sure but it grows tired in the second half after a good start.

  Meh. It had a neat plot at first, then became some lame thing about him being a fear monster....by that point I fell asleep I think.

  I felt the premise was pretty original and this was definitely one of the better 2007 Horrorfest films (there were some pretty bad ones). The effects were pretty good, not too many in your face scares, but the story moved along nicely. Could've been a little scarier I suppose, but it was interesting enough to keep my attention.

  The only reason I watched it was because of Mike Vogel. The acting wasn't bad, it was the script that could've used a touch-up. The cheesy line Ian says at the end really convinced me the script had to go. The plot was interesting and I never got bored. There were some parts that were a little confusing, but overall it was an okay movie. I wouldn't watch it again, but I might recommend it for other people to watch.

  It was quite similar to The Invisible,some Dark City and some Alien perhaps and something else...but an interesting story nevertheless. Could have done with some more gore, but it certainly wasn't boring!

  A slight horror twist on Groundhog Day before becoming more like Open Your Eyes and finally descending into Matrix/Underworld immitation. Plenty of ideas and mythology is juggled around in this rather entertaining yarn but at around 88 minutes there's a lot happening and being rushed. Apart from pacing though eveything seems to be in order with fine performances, tight PVC, gore, action and nice effects both computer generated and physical. Highly enjoyable, very interesting if a tad uneven.

  Easily the best of this years Horrorfest. I've always been a big fan of The Twilight Zone and Outer Limits since I was 10 and this film reminds me of such. If only the climax wasn't so comic-book cheesiness I would've rated it higher.

  And Horrorfest '07 disappoints again. Just couldn't get into the groove of this drawn-out rubbish reminiscent of the worser episodes of The Outer Limits. Don't care about the characters, not all that intrigued by the plot (figured it in the first few minutes, psychic vampires can be so lame). The creatures' "weapon hands" are just some black thick blade looking things and the creatures themselves are smoky renditions of the Predator meets the Creeper. Better than some of the other Horrorfest, but still shite. And the most annoying thing - everyone has accents from different Anglican countries so wtf is this supposed to be set anyway? Answer: In the minds of psychic vampires who watched Dark City too many times and have no imagination. ka-kow

  Cant beleive this has had the bad press it would appear to have had. Really well worked movie along the vampire theme with a twist. Damn fine in almost all areas and well worth a watch.

  Surprisingly good. It has a few flaws and the beginning is pretty slow but overall very well done. If you like horror movies with supernatural elements and an original concept you should check this out.
