jerry's first solo doesn't really inspire me but i've seen worse movies from just as good actors that did even less for me

An unusual take on the 1950s teen gang scene, though it's disappointing in the laugh quantity department. Still, Sidney's initiation into the force is truly funny. Would make a curious double bill with "Rebel Without a Cause."

Lewis is great in this to be in his mid 20's, and plays a nieve teen.
