If when you were watching From Dusk Til Dawn you wished, "If only this could be shittier" then this is the movie for you. Not a terrible movie but after seeing this and Eagle vs Shark I have to say I'm really shocked with the direct ripoffs I've seen recently. I always thought ...( read more)originality was a bit overrated, but dear God, both the aforementioned could be shot using the same scripts as the films they are "inspired" by. Oh well, it's good seeing Ken Foree anytime.

If you read the description of this movie, then you know you're not about to view an Oscar worthy movie. Also, if you saw this in Japan it was marketed as Blood Angel (which made it difficult to find on IMDB and Flixter at the time). Sawa is looking to eke out a living as a sma...( read more)ll time drug dealer of selling Spanish Fly to college kids, to which everyone is quick to remark "I thought college kids were smarter than that." To prove it works to his friend, as well as win a bet, they go to a strip club called Devil's Den to work it on strippers (which I don't see how that would work because aren't these girls supposed to be horny for a dollar anyway?). Turns out, the girls are not human and a blood bath ensues- a blood bath that Kelly Hu and Ken Foree are the only ones semi-prepared for. The movie is very predictable and the characters are standard (Hu and Sawa at odds with quirky, testy dialogue to each other but ending up actually being a match for each other). The wrap up of the story was just as predictable as well (but not necessarily bad). If you like sci-fi original type movies, that means B/C movies with B+ production values and scripting, you'll enjoy this like I did.

It was a copy of From Dusk Till Dawn the only difference is that the creatures are not vampires in this film.

it was different but I did enjoy it. I enjoyed the comedy more then the thrill.

Ok, I popped my netflix online viewing cherry on this one and boy am I glad I didn't wait 3 days for this junk. Devon Sawa is still washed up. Ken Foree is a legend and he couldn't save this one. It's like an indie cut of From Dusk Till Dawn. The plot is horrible, effects are...( read more) horrible, and you keep hearing the same canned sound efx through the whole movie. I'm really sorry for anyone else who had to sit through this in a theater or paid hard earned money. I think Sawa should've retired after Idle Hands. I'm also thinking there should be more demand for Ken Foree, he's way better than this. He was freaking in the original Dawn of the Dead. That should mean something. I can tell you to watch it for free but don't snatch it off a shelf. If you are channel surfing and nothing else is one, you might want to check it out. It does have naked strippers in it. The one whole star reflects an actor from Dawn of the Dead. The other half represents the movie only being 80 minutes of wasted time instead of the mostly mandatory 90. Then, if you look over there to the right, they classify it with Dead Alive. What the hell is that all about!!!!!!

    Almost fun camp. Almost...

Kelly Hu is in this movie? Seriously? Wow. I was surprised to see her doing such low-grade work, although overall this movie about killer zombie/vampire-type strippers, drug dealers, assassins, and Japanese swordsmen deliver in the laughs as well as the gore, it is an enjoyabl...( read more)e film to watch sometime.

Ok. It's not an award winner. Anyone who enjoys really bad horror that's bad enough to have you on the floor laughing will love this. Think Evil Dead series. It starts out as two idiots and a bunch of needless nudity and gore. The dialogue is great tho. A werewolves den is ...( read more)scary because there'd be too much dog poo?
