This movie was cute, but stupid. Jessica Simpson looked good though!

i luv this movie the car chases are so well done and jessica simpson looks gd in first acting part 10 out of 10
two cousins try to save the land of their uncle by corrupt commissioner they live in village they don't know much about city life it is advanture movie and very comedy movie i liked it very much.
wats up hay guys did u know that jess and everyone else probaly don't even look at this:(
i love the Dukes of Hazzard even the tv shows i started watching them when i was a kid thanks for keeping it going.
The real Dukes would have never beat the hell out of the general like that. I only like the general in the movie the story sucked and the acting sucked even more and did they have to bash the general on the highway the way they did. Todays people are so pc and thin skinned that it's really sad oh boo hoo so there is a southern flag on top get over it.
Amen to the following comment.....
rayman0071 This was a disgrace to the original series and I know that two of the original stars of that show (John Schneider and Tom Wopat)are pissed off and madder than hell after what the producers did. I don't blame them one bit.
Not to mention Catherine Bach, who even madder than they are. Nor for that manner James Best.
I know Denver Pyle(Uncle Jesse)and Sorrell Brooke(Boss Hogg)are really rolling in their graves now because of this and should be. One of the worst films of 2005.
I got to meet Sorrel Brooke in 1986 when he was at a car show with the General Lee. and He was a awesome man, awesome actor and he loved his character, Boss.
And PLease.. Burt reynolds is NO Boss Hogg. He was tall and Skinny and there is no comparison.
I suppose for the younger generation that wasn't raised on the series.... its a entertaining movie. But for the true fans of the originals its a disgrace.
id say if u grew up watchin this back in the day ud think the new one isnt good but if u like sean william scott and johnny knoxville like i do, u find it funny n good
n question...in this movie...who does the narrarators voice...dnt repost answer in comment write to my page...k thanx
i love the dukes of hazzard series, so was disappointed with this film. i agree with the 2 previous comments, though i didn't mind willie nelson. and u gotta love general lee!
The movie was absoutly nothing like the show..the only thing that stayed the same was the names and the car...its a good movie but when you compare it to the show way off!!

im not the biggest fan of jessica simpson myself, but i have to concede she did a fine job of playing daisy! seann william scott is the outstanding actor here though, all credit to him on another spectacular performance!! burt reynolds is also great as the villain; an absolute must-see for everyone!
Hilariouse. Holy hell, Jessica Simpson in all her short shorts glory! How hot is she? Seriously? Anyhow, good acting, especially from Mr. Knoxville, and the characters were beleivable "good ól boys"
