I watched this on T.V. decades ago. It was funny when I was a kid.

an attempt to keep the magic of star wars going, this is a decent watch for kids but it certainly isnt a great movie.

There was no Star Wars magic here. Even seeing Wicket didn't thrill me. This felt more like a prototype for Willow. Aubree Miller was cute, but typical Hollywood bred brat like Jake Lloyd; I hope she's happier these days. I liked the second movie with Wilford Brimley more.

This was just a REALLY cute movie. If you have a soft spot for the Ewoks and have children, you HAVE to at least see this once...

This is a childhood favorite of mine. The first of two made for television movies of the Ewoks from Return of the Jedi. The story is about a family that crash on Endor and have an adventure with the Ewoks. The story is simple and more for kids than adults. But makes for a good fa...( read more)mily movie. The F/X is quite good. Not Star Wars good but decent. I still enjoy watching this. You do not have to have seen Star Wars to relate or enjoy this film. Well worth a watch for a family or Star Wars fans.

Incredibly good for what it was; very well put together and a sweet simple story. The score was incredible, and despite the cheesy child acting the overall experience is more enjoyable than any recent Star Wars project (I'm looking at you, The Clone Wars). As long as you accept i...( read more)t as a kid's TV special from the 80s made to tie-in to a popular movie....it's really fun and just plain cute.

.....Plus, you get to see Ewoks on horses.
