At this late date, it should hardly be necessary to inform viewers that The Ewok Adventure was inspired by those fuzzy little space muppets seen in the 1983 Star Wars sequel Return of the Jedi. This costly made-for-TV film was executive-produced by George Lucas, with special effects provided by… More

Critic Reviews

The characterizations aren't strong enough to carry it, and the children who are attracted to the Ewoks-at-home sequences will probably be scared to death by the effects work.

Short on action by Lucasfilm standards, stuffed with toothy teddies which lack the charm of Phase One Gremlins, or the wit of any muppet.

an attempt to keep the magic of star wars going, this is a decent watch for kids but it certainly isnt a great movie.

There was no Star Wars magic here. Even seeing Wicket didn't thrill me. This felt more like a prototype for Willow. Aubree Miller was cute, but typical Hollywood bred brat like Jake Lloyd; I hope she's happier these days. I liked the second movie with Wilford Brimley more.
