The Faking of the President
Cutting and pasting from tapes of U.S. President Richard Nixon's voice, the filmmakers of this movie have created a satire in which the man is caught confessing to everything Americans believed he might have said or done during his presidency. After the soundtrack was created, scenes were filmed using Richard M. Dixon, a look-alike Nixon impersonator. Several silent scenes add to the humor: in one, Nixon steals flowers to put on his own dog Checkers' gravesite.
