    Ken Russell, what the hell were you thinking? I dig Ken's films, but this mess was like a poorly funded drug binge gone wrong. If you like blow up dolls fucking Godzilla toys, every other prop being phallic, the rantings of a drunken Ken Russell with an on again off again Germa...( read more)n accent, a man in a gorilla suit and all of this is supposed to be interpretations of Edgar Allen Poe...perhaps I've already said too much. Better luck next time, Mr. Russell.
