This might be seen as a typical working class British comedy....except for one scene.
I love the film, and the predicament the newly weds faced in what I would call far happier times in this country.

This sounds SO boring -- not my kind of movie. But Paul McCartney wrote the music, and that was at a time when the Beatles were still together and it was his first real solo thing. So that's pretty much WHY I'd like to see it.
