Awesome effects for it's time, most of them can still hold up to todays efforts. Typical Willis which is usually a good thing. Milla is smoking in this movie but this is without a doubt the most annoying Chris Tucker has ever been...and that is saying something!

Very well directed ! All the elements (not the fith) are there : laughter ( tucker oh my god), the execntric costumes ( jean paul gauthier my friend), the hot chick ( Leelouu), action ( hideeee), music ( man i dances with that diva song, don't worry i wasn't in the cinema) and a great story ( it's not Star Wars, but it's fun) !!!!
I thought this was really good, colourful and bright, a great vision of the future. The colour adds to the excitement and keeps this film interesting, not dull and apocalyptic like many similar films. It's quite cheesy, but I liked it anyway. I honestly liked it more than Star Wars!
I totally loved it it is sooo cool! I adored Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman as the comic bad guy, chris tucker make me laugh a lot with his"Greeny" stuff and Milla, well I hate her, too damn beutiful, I loved her character. I think it is very original and I liked the future reality, still with taxis and Mcdonald's I loved it, of course one of my favorites.
fifth element + luc besson = a master producing a sci-fi masterpiece. his direction was superb as was the comedic elements and timing. and of course there is Oldman, i mean Zorg, or is it Oldman???
Loved everything about this movie. Milla and Bruce with great perfomances. Besson made the most of every scene, every special effect, and music score. Humor, sci fi, lots of action and did I mention Milla? Must see.

Stunning visuals,terrific effects,awesome colours,non stop action,hysterical humour,unforgettable costumes (Jean Paul Gaultier),great score(kung fu and opera...what a crazy blend,but it works!),great cast.Korben Dallas,a John McClane from the future,with Bruce Willis' trademark sarcastic humour enjoyable every time.Milla Jovovich is amazing,a tough warrior woman fighting to protect life yet beautiful and fragile,looking pure and innocent as a newborn child & exotic,as from another world.Chris Tucker,an androgynous DJ,annoying and intrusive as a mosquito but still funny.And in the end Love is the answer...What can you ask more?Don't mind the flaws!Just enjoy it!
Perhaps the funnest movie of all time. What a rush. Great imagery, a super awesome perspective of the future, and a creative story. Bruce Willis kicks ass.
Great sci fi movie. They still used the same kind of graphics as the old star wars movies which I liked. Mostly the use of models with only slight CG which really gave it a retro feel with the futuristic background.
what a movie... Bruce Willis was as always awesome :) Chris Tucker was really out there but still he made me laugh quite a few timez :) ....... & OMG Milla Jovovich .... just soo dam hawt! I needed a drool bucket everytime she was on the screen... and that hair of herz... * droolz * she really was in the sence... PERFECT!
Very cool. Gary Oldman is one of the best actors out there playing an entertaining villain. The direction is also cool. Little known fact... the hero and the villain never share the screen. They never confront each other.
I believe Jackie Chan must've pulled a few strings and the ever grateful Chris Tucker manages to appear in this film :P It's comic book action based stuff with some cool feckin' guns and gary oldman too!!!! Very funny and enjoyable to watch.
