Good idea never really reaching its potential, down to the fact that the film runs more like a training video for the us navy, and to many stereotypical old fashion americanisms for the japanese in the second world war. Still good performances from the leads and fun fighter pilot scenes save the day.

Besides Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan , an Apocalypse Now, I think this is one of the first movies I ever saw.... I think they were all recorded on the same video tape by my dad...

A very entertaining movie, and it is surprisingly without cheese for a time-travel movie from 1980. The all star cast is great and really makes the situation that much more believable. I was completely on board (forgive the pun) with this movie and was on the edge of my seat to see what would happen next. Highly recommended.

This is a great film that doesn't get the attention it deserves. A fascinating premise that is resolved very well. Great performances from all of the leads, especially Charlie the world's oldest dog.

This was as cheesy as cheesy can get, a science fiction piece that acts more as a poster film for the US Navy more than anything else. It didn't have enough science fiction elements too it and more of the "war" aspect of the film came to fore. However it's entertaining to watch despite it's bordering on camp.
