remake of 1980 in director with john carpenter(who also is producer this film)from the original.
this something horror film about a fog in antonio bay, oregon.
To tell the truth this movie was so boring to me, that i shut it off about thirty-five minutes into the film. Then the next day, I tried to watch the rest...shut it off again..and finished it the last day I had to take it back. So what does that tell you? FAIL.
the storyline was soo off... it was confusing until the end of the movie when everything was put together.. and most of all.. the only parts that were cool is when the FOG killed ppl... otherwise total waste of time!
The storyline is great so the movie should be even better...right?... Wrong. This flick lacks a bit of spice and mystery, and that "omph" that keeps you at the edge of your seat. Disappointing.
Ha ha! A killer fog!? If it weren't for the fact that getting movie rights were expensive, MST3k would still exist, and movies like this would be the fuel that keeps them going.
Could've been much better. I'ts exactly the same as the original just with modern actors. I'd like to see someone make a movie of James Herbert's novel The Fog much better storyline
This one is the exact opposite of the Omen remake. If you recall the suspense and the tense atmosphere of the original this film is going to disappoint you big time. It's a scary movie for people who are very easy to scare.
If the characters (which I personally remember only as colorless screamers) were more interesting, the long, long buildup to their night of ghostly reckoning might be suspenseful rather than tedious. So what we're left with is a criminally forgettable retelling of a decent film that was better off sleeping on the shelves.
a remake, but the movie is well crafted...In the small town of Antonio Bay, a terrifying and malevolent force hidden within a thick and deadly fog terrorizes the local residents. Shrouded by the mist is a ghastly mystery of merciless revenge, one that the town's inhabitants would do well to unravel--before it's too late
Oh man did this movie bomb. The original was a very good, suspenseful ghost story. But his is just a teen horror with nothing original or scary about it. And the ending is one of the worst that I've ever seen. Avoid at all costs.
