I don't know why I persist in watching Steven Seagal flicks, he has made a few enjoyable action films but that was a long time ago and by the looks of him a lot of donuts ago as well. A few buildings get blown up, lots of people get shot and there is slow motion in the action scenes but that might be because Seagal can't move that quick any more.

Seagal was beyond it at this point (and still is) but this was actually a decent movie. Less on action than his usual fare and more on dialogue this is a very mysterious movie that got panned by even his biggest fans. He's done a lot better, true, but he's also done worse. How much can you really expect from him at this point?

Who, What, Where, How, When... an Oh my God.... WHY!?
For the record i've tried watching this 3 times. That's right... 3! And only fallen asleep twice!
Did Mr Seagal even read the script on this one... or did he just run with it... so to speak? Hmmm that explains his whisperings...
This movie is fucking terrible!
No excuses.
I can't even explain the plot... something to do with Seagal having to "recover" a conspicuous "package." To which a load of people don't want him to. Oh but he does... and shit blows up... people die. Turns out the package was a "black-box" off an aeroplane that blew up... due to suspicious circumstances. The end.
Now didn't that just sound thrilling? Don't you just want to slap the writing crew on the back and buy them all a round of drinks...
The pace of this movie was totally drab, the acting non-existent... and in some cases I though they'd just got the local amateur panto players in to fill the cast list.
(Example 1: Dramatic, slow-mo scene where Seagal is rushing a mother and her daughter out of a burning house! ... The little girl is smiling...can't help but think that little girl wouldn't be smiling over her mother's charred corpse)
The action sequences weren't too bad... but for some reason the "bad guy" just kept shooting people for the sake of it... with no real explanation.
(Example 2: One of the main character's is shot by the "bad guy" after the entire movie was built up to this point... the end?... you'd think so wouldn't you?But no. The movie somehow continues for a good while longer... going nowhere!)
Oh and nearly every building that Seagal walks into is guarantied to blow up at some point!
Seagal, or fatty to his friends, literally bitchslaps a few people... doesn't blink once... waddles off camera.
Cut to scene of Seagal reading a letter on a boat. Cue end credits. ..... ?
Ok ok, maybe i'm being a bit harsh, the movie did have some good points;
-It cured my insomnia.
-It made me laugh.
-I now no longer fear death as much as I fear having to sit through this fucking film again. Appears to be filmed in eastern Europe by the looks of it, which isn't surprising when you consider the rest of the world doesn't want anything to do with it!
Looking back what I wish I'd done is fast-forwarded the movie and watched the commercials....
Just. Don't. Even. Bother. -

Fat Steve slaps his way through another bunch of D-list villains that couldn't even catch a Cold. With plenty of dodgy camera work including the typical slow motion, and the all new flip between two cameras angles as great speed, more incidental music than you can possibly imagine as it springs into life constantly through the film. Oh and not forgetting the over-eager pyrotechnic who I think may well be a pyromaniac as the smallest fire or explosion suddenly roars into a raging inferno. Please Steve just stop.... please.

MCT:June 20, 2007Pure crapfest, and I don't even mean that in a good way. Boring, cliched espionage time-waster that seems to think it's a lot smarter than it actually is. Features a villain who's indestructable apparently because he always wears a bulletproof vest. If you've tried to kill the dude before by shooting him in the chest, only to find him mysteriously returning to bug you again, wouldn't you just pop a cap in the sucker's head?? No Kevlar there! But nooo, at least 3 characters in this turgid excuse for an actioner just keep pumping bullets into that magic vest of his. Then wonder why they're on the wrong end of the same guy's bullets half an hour later. This is so poorly paced, written and performed that you have every right to expect unintentional laughs, right? Well, imagine my disappointment when they didn't come. Avoid. At all costs.

Sorry not a Steven Seagal fan at all.. use to get into some of his earlier movies but just dont like his attitude toward woman.. another star that his fame went to his head and gut....

A very cool action film with now fat Steven segal.The action scenes in it are very cool its a shame theres more talking than shooting in it....
Oh well the story is well structered!!
