Zany horror comedy which crosses Beetlejuice, Death Becomes Her and the kooky fantasy elements of a huge number of light hearted spook flicks. This film is atad different in the fact its actually alittle scary in places and even alittle gruesome or serious, Busey being a quite na...( read more)sty baddie here.

Fox is slightly miss cast to be honest, he has the comedy factor but he loses it when it comes to the ghosts haha he just doesn't fit in too well, Astin on the other hand is near perfect :)
Some nice effects on show with the undead, good makeup and a creepy cast make this a surprise fun film, the cgi is abit crap in places and it does come across as a poor mans Ghostbusters but its well worth a check.

I was quite surprised that this film is more recent than I had suspected as it has an older look to it and I tend to associate Michael J Fox with the 80's.

It's a likeable ghost horror comedy, on a similar sort of lines to Beetlejuice.

Easy watching, non thinker, predic...( read more)table yet enjoyable.

A very good black comedy/horror from Peter Jackson (can this guy do no wrong!). Michael J Fox also pulls in a great performance as con man Frank Bannister who has the ability to see ghosts. It has an orginal story and it is so much fun to watch - why this flopped on it's initial ...( read more)release I can't comprehend. Check out this dark supernatural comedy movie, you won't regret it.

Really bizarre and fun at the same time. While I don't think it's that good of a movie, I definitely find it very entertaining and worthwhile. The campy style works well and it has some outrageous performances from Jeffrey Combs and Jake Busey. The plot was sort've different and ...( read more)a nice horror/comedy blend.

Haha, oh great fun. Good look at a less campy Peter Jackson, I can see how he got Lord of the Rings now. Good fun.
