Critic Reviews

  • Chuck O'Leary, Fantastica Daily

A scene for scene remake that's still great fun. Odds are you won't be moved or enlightened, but you'll never be bored.

  • Michael A. Smith, Nolan's Pop Culture Review

Only fair remake of the classic.

  • Brian Mckay, eFilmCritic.com

so-so but serviceable remake of the Steve Mcqueen classic, with a fairly exciting shoot-em-up at the end.

  • John Oliver, Katrillion.com

A pale imitation of the 1970s classic!

  • Scott Weinberg, eFilmCritic.com

    Trashy "guilty pleasure" remake.

Incredibly trashy but still enjoyable (if pointless) remake of Sam Peckinpah's original. Basinger is awful, Baldwin is serviceable, Woods chews the scenery.
