MCT:June 19, 2008Many have not seen this one. It stars the same two children that played Jane and Michael from Mary Poppins, once again as brother and sister. They are vacationing in the California Red Woods region when they meet a Gnome! Incredible children's classic.

My Grandpa and I used to watch this together when I was a little girl. I havent seen it in years but just hearing the name brings back fond childhood memories!!

This film is a classic Walter Brennan, with another fine performance. Best viewing by kids and those who are kids at heart.. one of those stories that you will love and never forget no matter how old you are,

An eccentric millionaire and his grandchildren are embroiled in the plights of some forest gnomes who are searching for the rest of their tribe. While helping them, the millionaire is suspected of being crazy because he's seeing gnomes! He's committed, and the niece and nephew and the gnomes have to find him and free him.
I just love Walter Brennan in this movie! This is a great movie to watch with your kids and once you've watched it you will be singing along. "The Gnome-mobile, The Gnome-mobile...hunting for Gnomes in the Gnome-mobile!" LOL -

A good movie from "back in the old country'. I remember watching with when I was really young. With a look if you can. It's funny to look back on now.
