Well, I would say that it was highly disappointing, but I was expecting it to suck. The first one was alright, but this one was just plain horrible.

Amazing plot and brilliant acting but not as scary as the first. Believe me giving it three and a half stars is generous

Somebody stick a cork in that Bi...

    This movie is clearly odd.
    The worst part about this...
The plot doesnt come to a point, theres no revelation, no mystery to be revealed, its pointlessly tiresome to have a ghost that you can't extinguish or even escape.
The characters in this movie take turns dieing off the same as the previous. If this movie doesnt scare you, just walk away because its meaningless.
nevermind that it's a sequel, it does almost nothing to expand on the original. This ghost basicaly has free roaming and can suck you into a void just by grabbing you. If thats the case then why doesnt everyone just say here I am come and eat me.
the movie pretends to be part of a mystery case and poorly attempts to interest you in finding some truth but, in never amounts to anything significant. If you've seen the Grudge already, dont even bother wasting your time, you exactly what to expect...except worse. Theres almost nothing good to say about this movie. It's mildly disturbing and might manage to spook you just a little.

Great storyline to follow on from the first film with some good 'boo' moments as well. I thoroughly enjoy The Grudge films and this was an impressive sequel :)

I do feel like this isn't better than the first one, but I can't really remember what happened in the first soo I really can't compare (just because the first one isn't memerable). They're we're many funny scenes that I don't think we're supposed to be funny, but overall it had a really interesting story to it.

I didn't find the original grudge to be all that entertaining, so needless to say I didn't find this one that great either. It's alright if say you have nothing better to do, but if you can find something more amusing, please do!

Just take 2 minutes and read this. This is very EASY to do! It literally takes 10 minutes to setup. Simply follow the steps below. I promise you, this is 100% real. I wouldn't jeopardize my EBay account status if this was a scam. My feedback is real and I will answer you on any question! Here is what you do. Click on the link below, register, pick an account type (referral is the easiest) and complete just 1 offer (Very important that you complete the 1 offer otherwise your account will sit in limbo until you do). This is not like other sites where you need to complete one offer on 2 or 3 different pages!!! And a lot of these offers are FREE trials with nothing else to buy...No commitments!!!

There are plenty of cool offers to choose from such as Blockbuster online, Stamp.com, Netflix, Gamefly which are services you would regularly sign up for anyways and their all secure networks, why not use them to get a free PS3 System or cash (I did the Stamps.com for a 30 day free trial and it never cost me a penny and I received credit for it the same day). Look at the offers and choose the one that works for you. After signing up and completing your one offer, simply refer 8-13 people (depending on the FREE prize you choose) to do the same under your link (just post the same thing as I have on eBay, and you'll get your referrals before the auction even ends.)

Then they will ship your Free gift or your selected item for free; No Joke, 100% REAL!!! The reason these companies make money, is because most people don't bother getting all the referrals. All you have to do is post it on EBAY! They use us as advertisement by word of mouth which saves them tons of money which goes toward yours and my free gift. These are legit companies such as Blockbuster, Netflix, Gamefly etc... You can copy my listing if you want. You must use your own authentic link though. You will get your own personal link after your orders placed.

Better than the first film and, i thought, better than the japanesse sequel. Some scary scenes again which is what this film is meant to be about. Always nice to see Miss Gellar on screen.

I loved this movie! There were so many great scenes of the ghosts getting people, inspired from various Ju-On movie sequences. It's nice they included the schoolgirl story, which seemed absent from the first Grudge film.

Most of the ghost appearances are the mother ghost Kayako with her long black hair. There weren't enough scenes with the little boy ghost Toshio and his black cat; probably because they got a different actor to play him. Even the famous killer ghost daddy Takeo makes an appearance.

Sarah Michelle Gellar appears in this movie as Karen, only to be killed off. I hate it when movie sequels do that. (She chose to act in "The Return" instead, a terrible movie).

Karen's sister Aubrey (Amber Tamblyn) is sent to Japan to visit Karen in the hospital, but that doesn't last very long. Karen soon dies, and Aubrey is left to investigate the burned-out shell of the Grudge house from the first film. Aubrey is assisted by a reporter, in uncovering the root of the evil curse; we get some wacky flashbacks of Kayako as a child, being force-fed the psychic pains of villagers who came to relieve their evil attachments.

The main thrust of this movie is to get the ghosts out of the haunted house in Japan, to America. This is accomplished by having Americans go into the haunted house and bringing the ghostly curse back home with them. The curse spreads to an aparment building in Chicago, where two families are destroyed.

There's lots of jump-points, and weird death scenes when the ghosts get their victims, who simply disappear into thin air.

This movie switches between at least three different timelines throughout. It's a bit confusing, but they're easy enough to piece together once you've seen the entire movie. They cheated a bit by changing some of the details when they're shown a second time around.

I really liked this movie; probably more than the original Grudge flick.

I can never get that hour and a half back. It is a frustrating movie to watch. I don't mind the supernatural element of ghost reliving a violent death and taking it out on other people, that's why I saw the first one. Now it's annoying and just uncalled for.

I hated this movie. There is no explanation how the curse gets from the three girls in Japan to Karen to Chicago. The story flits from story to story with no logic -- as if the only point was showing us another scary Curse death.

way better than the first Grudge by miles!! i like all the stories coming into one-although the ending is really predictable...i liked how this film has a completely different narrative and is not a remake, this film definitely feels like another chapter within the Grudge.

This one was alright. I thought that the end was very wierd and it was definatly not as scary as the first one. I thought it was also very sad because after Sarah Michelle Gellars character died, no one was the same. I just thought it was alright.

Do horror movies come any more boring than this? I thought the first one was ultra tame but this is way worse. Confusing and pointless but it has the added bonus of watching Sarah Michelle Gellar meeting a nasty end.
