Graceful, beautiful and quiet would be the first things to come to mind to say about this. But then unfortunately it is also ever so slightly shallow in its characterizations, lacks chemistry between the leads and relies too much on the amazing aerial acts. I was drawn in neverth...( read more)eless, so it gets a good 3 stars - but I might be giving the benefit of the doubt here. I will rewatch it on DVD to form a final opinion on it, as my expectations of this were probably too high.

This one surprised the hell out of me. Beautifully made, with very high production values for its budget, amazingly well acted, and very strongly written. The plot and characterisation are both complex and richly emotional, and the relationship(s) between the leads are believeabl...( read more)y real and affecting. Just about every element worked for me here. Brutally underrated and underappreciated.

Watched this last on the Movie Network On Demand. There were some really touchy parts, but for the most part it was just somewhat lame and overacted. Excellently filmed though.
