Wow it's amazing the story!
It had a good story behind and everything but, to be honest it really was not all that great I for one was pretty disappointed. Not at all scary I expected more. They made the preveiws look really good.
Watching it on the tv show Hauntings, looks nothing like the previews show. Can't wait to see it.
The real person that inspired this movie, Carmen Reed, will be at The ScareFest! (www.TheScareFest.com) Be sure to buy your tickets to meet her there so you can learn more about her experience in this house of horrors.
It all started when Carmen Reed moved into what she and her family considered was their dream house. It didn’t take long until mysterious and bizarre events started to plague the family especially down in the basement. It was later discovered that the basement used to be a morgue at one time.
Not only did the horror increase but her son became severely ill with cancer. It was a total nightmarish experience that no family should have been subjected to.
After Carmen’s story leek out to the public it didn’t take long that they were contacted by the folks of “A Haunting” series that was hosted by the Discovery Channel. They produced a two-hour episode called “A Haunting in Connecticut” that has aired on the Discovery Channel many times. Should be great Patti*
The documentary of the true story that this movie is based on aired on the Discovery Channel lots of times. And let me tell you, it was some truly horrifying stuff. I haven’t been that scared watching something for quite some time, but this nail-biting documentary definitely did the trick. Try watching this alone at night, the documentary that is, and tell me what you think!
