Pretty much one of the most awesome horror movies ever. My girlfriend is frightened of this movie for a very good reason but seeing as how I'm not a woman, I'm not that scared by it. But this is a very good thriller for fans of the genre.
The singularly most disgusting, horrible and satisfying movies i have ever seen. I am not a squeamish person and it takes a lot to make me feel sick but some how watching a dirty deformed psyco assult and rape the victims in this flm made my stomach churn. the second half of the film really did make me feel better though. isnt it satisfying to see villains get comeupance.
better than I expected it to be,one of those films that you can watch a couple of times a year & still find it good to watch like elm street
one of the best horror films of the last couple of years
some scenes in it are still gruesome to watch ie brenda being raped
but the ending with doug the pacifist turning into a killing machine after the beating he takes is one of the best storyline twists ever
If you're looking for violent, bloody horror, you really can't go wrong here. A beautifully shot film for what's essentially a splatterfest. There's some nice set pieces here. And the opening title sequence is one of the best I've seen. Creepy!
not my type of movies and Im actually fed up of these kinds of movies. Kinda like Saw series, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise and Halloween franchise. Its good horror but after sometime it gets old and just plain nasty.
An awfully under-rated remake. It stays true to the original film (mostly) with some great new scenes. Although the original is better, this is almost as good. Some great special effects and acting does wonderful justice to the original. If you must see any remake of a classic horror film any time soon, see this one!
Ive never seen the orginal old movie but this movie was rly great. even thou the plot for the beggining was rly mediocre with the gas station, and stuff, it was rlly nice to watch lol alot of the mutated miners were disgusting and ogre, wich made the movie awesome :)
