January 19, 2009Aww, cant stop loving the book, and if this is so good to be true, cant take my eyes of this crew. So many news, so many GOOD NEWS. Dom said he cant wait to join the crew as the other hobbit members for THE HOBBIT. I think is for PART II, so it can tie with the LOTR 1st film. Oviously, it would be a new scene, not in the book. Wait? If thats so, I realy want that to come true, cause in films u can do whatever u want, right? Then, I wish for the hobbits and the rest of the crew to come back even if they make cameos XD

Well, Guillermo del Toro is one of my fave mexican directors, cause I love latin directors, they have a very creative mind and they love to experiment on doing great films. I realy enjoy Pans Labyrinth or Laberinto del Fauno, and El Orfanato. I enjoy puertorrican movies also, but changing the theme, THE HOBBIT is Tolkiens masterpiece, and its a very nice book, and I love it. Im a fan of Lord of the Rings, and also of the hobbits, hehe. I realy wish Dominic, Viggo, Ian, Billy, and other old cast members return. I know its about Frodo's uncle on the hole book, or story, but I wish to see them again. I realy want TOO!!!! Anyway, cant wait...but yeah, 2011 is so far away..I could never resist seeing other fantasy films as Harry Potter 6 and 7, X MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE and many more...includes IRON MAN AND SPIDERMAN...also BAtman on my superhero list.
PD: Maybe Frodo could return sence THE HOBBIT will be on two halfs, so it connects with FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING. I realy cant wait XD -
September 3, 2008Why the heck is there already ratings for this? I'm just as stoked as the next person who loved J.R.R. Tolkien's novels and found PJ's film to be great adaptations, but rating a movie four three years in advance is really outrageous.

August 16, 2008I've been hoping for a while that they would bring out the hobbit and it should be a great film if its anything like the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
Im a bit gutted that Peter Jackson isn't directing it because he done an amazing job in turning the LOTR novels into the films but if im correct Sir Ian Mckellen is keeping his role of Gandalf which is the best news. But the new director hopefully will make the Hobbit into a brilliant film
Cant wait for it. -

June 4, 2008So excited for this movie! I just hope GDT does a good job and keeps with what PJ already created in the LotR trilogy, which was amazing! Can't wait to find out who they're casting! I hope all of the actors from LotR that are included and can possibly be included in the Hobbit will return!

June 3, 2008James McAvoy should be Bilbo. He would make a good one, and frankly speaking, there are so many worse actors out there, I'd be relieved to have him act out that character.

Use Ian Holm as much as you can and for a much younger Bilbo then Martin Freeman would fit the bill so much better than that Bloody Mr Tumnus!
Oh, and Ron Pearlman for Beorn.....perfect match.
Still working on the Dwarves, and hopefully Hugo Weaving will take up Elrond once again and things will start to take shape, along with the Biggest star, other than Smaug, New Zealand, perfect for all the films.....but no James Mcavoy! -
May 27, 2008Well, I liked the Lord of the Rings because I think Viggo Mortenson is good looking for an older man, so if he is in this movie it should be worth watching
