A millennial apocalyptic minimalist deadpan slapstick musical as only Tsai could dream up. The hole is just as potent a symbol as the room in Vive L'Amour and pornography in The Wayward Cloud. It's almost like a negative image of The Wayward Cloud, though I liked the wacky musical numbers here slightly more.

MCT:November 18, 2006Loved this movie! Very odd. A apartment complex where it rains all the time, a lady collecting toilet paper..other oddities and an interesting surprise at the end.
