A great romantic comedy. One of the best I've seen right up there with Love Actually. It has a great cast and just has a quality feel about the whole film. A very entertaining feel good film. So if you normally avoid rom-coms you may have missed out on this little gem.

A good little switcheroo movie. Diaz sings badly but is still cute. Winslet plays a homebody opening up to new experiences well. I don't know about Law, he doesn't stand out to me. And Black is a favorite of mine specifically for these more subdued roles.

festive fairytale crap that's not realistic in the slightest but besides all that all of the four leads... except jack black act brilliantly which is weird because it's usually black who acts with all the enthusiasm. i've always liked kate winslet as an actress but jude law is st...( read more)arting to grow on me now too and i'm finding it really annoying. it's like the growing of a huge boil on some bit of rotten flesh that you know you should hate. the bast part was the old boy ex screenwriter whom winslets characters made friends with. in summary good to watch over christmas but probably won't make too much of an impact if you're not feeling festive

I have mixed feelings about this movie. In the end I liked it and I really liked the relationship that formed b/w Jack and Kate and Jude's performance was good, but I didn't like Cameron's performance and to me it actually took so much away from the film, it left me undetermined...( read more) about my feelings for the movie.

I surprised myself and I can?t quite believe I am going to say this, but I really enjoyed this from start to finish. Cameron Diaz was uncharacteristically funny.

This was a corny feel good film, yet completely endearing, it does everything for me that films like Bridget Jones...( read more) didn?t.

Why do I continue to listen to the film critics and not go see films just because they didn't like them? I ask this because The Holiday was mostly panned by the critics, so I avoided it until I watched it on T.V and really loved the film. I found it to be a great, funny, feel-goo...( read more)d and smart little movie which deals with the complexities of love and the excitement of new beginnings boasted by an all star cast. The perfect holiday film.

I'm not one for Chick Flicks, but this one was pretty good.... if it weren't for the 4 main star actors it would've been crap, to be quite honest... :L they really pulled it up.

I don't like Romance, but this movie is pretty good and I enjoyed it. Kate Winslet and Jude Law were great in this ^^. I don't have a lot of comparisons for romance movies, but I liked it.
