MCT:February 19, 2008This movie is the ultimate in family Christmas movies. It takes a brand-new perspective on the holidays, even though this movie is many years old. This is real Christmas drama, the likes of which have never been duplicated in cinema history. Definitely a joy to watch, and a tradition in my family. The movie follows the woes of a family struggling in Depression-era America to have a good Christmas despite being worried that their patriarch may not make it home alive this year, along with the mystery of the Christmas turkey thief, becoming an adult, and believing in miracles.
