The twist at the end it's a bit predictable but the rest of the movie is really original and a true love story. If you haven't seen it yet, you really should rent it/ buy it/or something else, just see it!!!!

Excellent! The ending was unexpected to me... what I really thought was that the actress could never die that way without an espectacular reappearence.

IT WAS THE SECOND BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY WHOLE LIFE!!!!I GAVE IT A 100, 5 STARS, TWO THUMBS UP AND A 10!!!! THIS MOVIE MAKES THE PRESTIGE LOOK LIKE A PILE OF COW DUNG (WHICH IT WAS ANYWAY) ANYWAY COMMENT ON MY PAGE PLEASE IM NEW!!!LOL

I thought this was an excellent movie! I borrowed it off my mums friend, who also said i should watch the prestige coz its better. I havent watched the prestige yet, but i thought the illisionist was so much better than i thought it was gunna be. I loved it. I didnt suspect that he'd set it all up til near the end. I loooooved it :)

This movie was totally better than The Prestige. The Prestige at times felt rushed and the performances forced. The Illusionist was much less confusing, way better looking (this has got to be, visually, one of the best movies ever), and much more touching and heartfelt than The Prestige.

Honestly, I was expecting a lot more out of this movie. If you were thinking of watching this one, check out The Prestige instead. It's much better.

I would agree with most of you. It is my all-time favorite! Unlike most of the movies today, this one was actually intelligent and made you think, plus it had a good storyline. Also, the acting was great. And, if you think it was predictable, 1)You must be physic, or 2)I think 99% of all other movies were twice as predictable as this was, IF it even was. Take my advice, SEE THIS! (Unless of course you are just looking for a stupid horrible cheap movie, because this is the opposite of that.)

Lol I dont quite understand the ending. He plotted the whole thing then? So the prince or wateva was innocent? Why did he do it though? Was he really majical or was he faking it all?? and what was the book all about at the end lol... please reply on my profile thanks!

This movie doesn't get the recognization it deserves. It's every bit as good as the Prestige.

This was such an awsome movie!!!! I just loved how it kept you guessing all the time. It has one of the best plots i've seen in many years, and makes you think at the very end. Not only is it good to just see the twists and turns but it also makes you think about everything that goes on and if it could be possible. You never know!! I give it a 10 and 5 stars!!

if you think about it deeply, like really think about it you'll think its predictable. I think there were a few predictable parts in it but not the whole story, plenty of twists and turns to the point where you remembered the plot but had a few side plots as well.

i just had to comment on the illusionist...BEST movie i had seen...love it...plus i have seen it sooo many times that i think i can remember the dialogues.. i like the way how they never say " i love u" to each other yet u can clearly identify their love through their actions, expressions and the way they look at each other...i havnt seen such chemistry n e where...

I watched the last part atleast 6 times...its sooo brilliantly illusional..fell in love with movie and its now on my fave film list...Norton was awesome..nobody wudve done n e better than him..

Wtf kind of question is that, "Im rich and im dead sexy" Wrong movie......anyways! It's like freakin asking what a certain food tastes like. "Oh ya tastes like chicken" NO! Go watch it! And if you want a short description, scroll up, theres one up there. GOSH!
