It won't change your life but you'll walk away smiling.

  • Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times

Rather than go to the trouble of crafting a dramatically satisfying conclusion, The Incredible Hulk" blows the audience off and takes the air out of its previous solid work by ending with what is essentially a shameless trailer for the next Marvel movie.

  • Amy Biancolli, Houston Chronicle

In close-up the Hulk is more cartoonish than scary, but when he's ripping armed vehicles to shreds? Kewl.

  • Richard Schickel, TIME Magazine

The sheer craft directors such as Leterrier lavish on them is awesome to me. I can't imagine how they orchestrate all the little pieces of film they require to build their big set pieces... [But] Why do they bother?

  • Rex Reed, New York Observer

It's dismaying to think of all the wonderful performances Edward Norton has given in movies nobody ever saw. This one is high-octane slumming that will keep him in Bentleys for years.

Ed Norton comes through and as always love Tim Roth. Liv Tyler does well also. Overall this movie did a good job of rejumping the hulk franchise and continues to set the table for Avengers.

Just a lot of smashing. I used to really love Ed Norton, but I find his face so incongruously milquetoast for every role subsequent to The Narrator in Fight Club.

I've never been an overly big Hulk fan. Never really got into the comics, and I don't remember much about the tv show(other than the hulk looked ridiculous painted in green). When the first "Hulk" movie came out I was pretty excited for it. The previews looked… More

A major improvement on what became of the pervious hulk instalment, and if they want to continue this franchise, then they better make more like this. This time, they reboot the franchise as Edward Norton portrays the role of Bruce Banner, and my god does it feel real. The visuals are… More

I cannot stress how far this is from being incredible. Ang Lee cared about the story of the Hulk and made something thoughtful in "Hulk". In contrast, "The Incredible Hulk" is the mindless… More
