Plot:
Also known as The Eight Diagram Pole Fighter, this is one of the most masterful and well-choreographed martial arts films I've ever seen. An excellent balance of drama and action (there's plenty of it) and a brutal final fight. One of the best in existence.
Cinematic greatness, the last film from Alexander Fu Sheng. That last fight scene is the greatest thing since the invention of porn.
Best martial arts film I've ever seen, and I've seen a metric fuckton of them. It starts with an old man committing suicide by head butting the top of a stone pillar and only gets better from there.
superb action from the kung fu master Gordon Liu. Great Fight scenes especially the temple fight near the end and the final battle.
Two words:
PUN MAY!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes known as Eight diagram pole fighter. An Shaw Brothers studios classic Gordon Liu at his best.
